Short term fasting may also correct weight problems, energy imbalances, blood pressure, sleep disorders, mood swings, blood sugar imbalances, nervousness.
Preparation:
Less is required for a short fast compared with a longer fast. This applies for before and after the fast.
However it is important to cut out processed food and liquid as much as possible in order to reduce withdrawal symptoms. We recommend you only eat light meals the day before.
In the morning before arriving have a lemon and hot water drink.
Naturally, side effects may be experienced – including dizziness, discomfort, achiness, cravings – this is all part of the body’s way of cleansing and healing itself. Excess fat or toxins are released from the cells into the bloodstream. Although during a one day fast these will be much less or none at all.
